Actress Michelle Ryan' gives her voice 'to this harrowing film which shows real life issues affecting people of all ages and situations and which social workers work with on a daily basis. The aim is simple; to recruit more social workers. Michelle tells the story of a young boy who has been abused but is trying to be brave for his younger sister.

Michelle explains she was moved to take part in the Help Give Them A Voice campaign because social workers support people who don't have that support, which makes such a difference to peoples' lives.

This film is the second of a series of promotional web videos featuring other stars including Sadie Frost, Goldie, Joanna Page, Nicholas Hoult and Emilia Fox, released from Tuesday 18th August.

And watch out for the big campaign launch in early September.
